Our History & Church Community: Christ Community Church (C3) was planted in 2011 by a handful of believers who desired to see a gospel-centered church in the northwest part of Montgomery County. Over the past 10+ years, God has grown our church to a community of about 125 adults & 75 kids. Families with children make up the vast majority of our suburban church body. More than 3/4 of our church family are active participants in our community groups and actively serve in some capacity in the church. C3 is known for its enveloping care for people and commitment to the transforming power of God’s Word by His Spirit. C3 has been deeply involved in seeing pastors plant churches and continues to invest in the ministry development of leaders to advance Great Commission work across the globe. C3 has also developed a heart for regularly meeting the essential physical & spiritual needs of children in Montgomery county through a number of our local ministry partners.

Our Mission & Core Values: C3 exists to bring glory to God by making disciples who are growing and multiplying in authentic community. The core values that help us accomplish our mission are Word, Community, Mission, Service & Prayer. We desire to see our people live by the Word of God in Community with other believers who are on Mission together.

Our Theological & Philosophical Distinctives: Our ministry distinctives include: Expository Preaching, a God-centered relevant worship style, Doctrines of Grace, Believers’ Baptism, Elder Leadership, Complementarian, and a Missional view of ministry. We are committed to developing community and living life with one another through Community Groups and other ministry initiatives. We are part of the P3 Collective of churches that desires to plant churches, train ministry leaders, and collaborate.  Candidates who apply should be able in good conscience to affirm and have the desire to serve in a church with these distinctives. Please consult our Doctrinal Statement, Teaching Statement, Membership Questionnaire, and Bylaws online at for more information.

A Vision for the Future: We desire to see the worship of our God and the teaching of God’s word transform our people’s lives in the power of the Holy Spirit. We pray that we will see people increasingly investing deeply in each other’s lives in discipleship through community groups and other ministry initiatives. We desire to see a revival in people’s hearts through prayer and repentance. Finally, we want to see the love of Christ compel our church family to share the gospel with the lost around them and be a life-giving presence in our community.

Our Broader Community: Montgomery County is on the north side of the Houston Metroplex and is home to more than 600,000 people. Cities within Montgomery County include Magnolia, Conroe, Montgomery, and The Woodlands. Currently, Montgomery County is considered one of the fasting growing counties in the State. Over 8000 new homes are scheduled for construction in our booming county. Montgomery County’s excellent schooling options for families and the overall quality of life for residents are drawing more and more people to our community.
